Habitats Regulations Assessment

A Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) is required in accordance with the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2010 (as amended), in order to ensure that plans and projects do not adversely affect any European wildlife sites

Here you can see the various HRAs which have accompanied the Plan:

N.B. The Habitats Regulations Assessments of the South East Lincolnshire Local Plan Publication Draft (December 2016) are based on an earlier draft where policy numbering was slightly different. In addition Policy 30 “Delivering the Spalding Transport Strategy” was completed after the HRA assessment. However, the consultants have confirmed that it  will not have a ‘likely significant effect’.

The Habitats Regulations Assessment will be further updated as required alongside the Local Plan as it is finalised.
