22/09/2017 – The Stage 2 Hearing Sessions will be held at Boston Borough Council Offices, West Street, Boston, Lincs, PE21 8QR.

20/09/2017 –The hearing dates for Stage 2 of the Examination have been confirmed as follows:

  • 1st and 2nd November 2017 for Matter 9: Allocations
  • 8th and 9th November 2017 for Matter 10: Infrastructure and Matter 11: Monitoring

The venues for Stage 2 will be confirmed shortly.

09/09/17 – The deadline for submission of representors intention to participate in the Hearing Sessions and receipt of Hearing Statements is now closed.  The Examination Hearing Statements can be viewed here.

The independent Inspectors appointed to conduct the examination are Elizabeth Ord LLB(Hons) LLM MA DipTUS and Anne Napier BA(Hons) MRTPI MIEMA CEnv.  The Inspectors will determine whether the Local Plan is ‘sound’ and legally compliant.  There will be Hearing Sessions to assist in reaching their conclusions.  The Local Plan cannot be adopted until the Inspectors agree it can be done.

This part of the website will be continuously updated as the examination progresses.

All documents relating to the submission are available on our website, however should you wish to view hard copies, the main documents are available to view at both Boston Borough Council and South Holland District Council Offices during opening hours.  The full copy set of documents are available to view by appointment with the Programme Officer.
